The Glider - Recovered Part 2

I finally got around to buying a staple gun so that

I could recover the glider's footstool.

Greg and John took turns helping me.
Here's the before:

Dish Towel Apron

I found this cute dish towel at a boutique.
I was looking for an apron for Mindy's birthday present,

but the aprons (same fabric) were twice as expensive.

So, I bought the dish towel, and found
this tutorial online to help me make an apron of it.

I modified the pattern just a little so that the bird
didn't get cut in half. I used fabric I had on hand
to make the ties. One of my brothers (who shall remain nameless)
was kind enough to model the apron for me.
(because my stomach is too big for the apron to fit properly)

Now Mindy will have a cute new hostess apron
to wear when she serves her yummy pies.
