Lexi

I made this onesie after I saw a similar one
at The Quilted Bear. The one at the store had
little soft pink yo yo's around the collar.
I wanted a cute purple tutu to got with it,
but found these shorts, instead.
Then, I made a matching burp cloth.

There's a matching burp cloth for this one, too,
because I liked the fabric so much.

Temple Blocks

The company that helped us make this,
also sells kits to make temple blocks.
I ordered five everyday temple blocks,
and gave them to the kids for Easter.
It took a lot longer than I expected it to.
Each layer had to fully dry before moving on,
and because I didn't want the kids to see me
working on them, it took about two weeks.
I finished the last coat of texture cream
just before we went to bed the night before Easter.
It was dry when we woke up, thank goodness.

Halloween Party Invites 2009

I found these photos when I was looking for the
family tree photo, and realized I hadn't blogged them.
Pretty boring, but this will make it easier
for me to find them this October.

Family Tree

Inspired by this idea and this tutorial.
I've been wanting to make this for a while,
and having to put it together for the YW
finally motivated me to make my own.
